Kildorrery will mark this year’s Heritage Weed (August 22nd. to 30th.) by holding a digital visual display in the Community Office, which will focus on Kildorrery’s connection with the first Cow and Gate Creamery in Ireland.  This will be in keeping with this year’s theme of ‘Industrial Heritage’ and the display will run for the week.

There will also be a guided heritage tour of the village on Saturday 22nd. (leaving the community office at 2.30pm)

On Friday evening (August 28th) at 8.30pm there will be a presentation by Nioclas O Duinnin in the Oaklawn Centrem Kildorrery which will focus on the lives of two local Fenian patriots Fr. Michael Kennedy and Edmond O’Brien Kennedy.

These events are free and all are welcome
