Ballyhoura Development in association with Cramden Tech, has organised an number of information sessions for directors, officers, committee members and managers of groups on the implications of the Charities Act, and future compliance responsibilities. The sessions will also demonstrate a cloud-based support tool aimed at improving governance & management in non-profit organisations.
The information sessions will take place on:

The first part of the information session will focus on the Charities Act and the practical implications for community organisations. The briefing will cover:
The remit of the Charities Regulator;
- The type of information that will be required for reporting purposes;
- How to start preparing for charities regulation;
- Implications of freely available information about registered charities
All relevant groups have been invited to attend one of these sessions; your help in encouraging attendance of groups which you feel may benefit and which will be affected by the Charities Act would be appreciated.
