Tidy Towns MitchelstownThe aim of AROMA is to:

Work for the improvement of Mitchelstown through environmental projects to help raise the awareness of both adults and the school going populations in our area, which will enhance the appearance of the town;Work with other bodies (statutory and voluntary) and concerned individuals who wish to make Mitchelstown a better place;

Promote the historical assets of our town.

Support and encourage the principles of Improving Mitchelstown within the area of the Tidy Towns Competition, by encouraging residents, schools and businesses to maintain their streets, estates and premises and showcase them at their best.

Identify and acknowledge unsightly areas within the town and to work with others to develop plans which will overtimetransform these into something we are no longer ashamed of.
Promote continued co-operation between all voluntary organisations to lobby for improved local government services.



Weekly Clean-Ups in Mitchelstown

During the summer months AROMA meet each Tuesday night outside Clongibbon House at 7.30 PM to carry out street cleans.

AROMA has once again entered Mitchelstown in the annual Tidy Towns Competition.
